Privacy Policy

Service information, responsibilities, and your rights.

Last updated: 2026-10-04

1. Who we are

TelaCloud is a hosting and domain service operated by Velloforge, with business location in New York, United States. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit telacloudhq.com, create an account, order services, or contact support. For privacy questions and requests, email support@telacloudhq.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and billing details: your name, email address, username, telephone number, country, billing address, and account preferences.
  • Orders and payments: services purchased, domain names, invoices, payment status, transaction references, and account balance records. Payment providers handle payment credentials according to their own policies.
  • Technical information: IP addresses, browser/device information, access logs, security events, and information needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
  • Support communications: tickets, contact form submissions, and messages you send to the support assistant or our team.
  • Google sign-in: when you choose it, we receive the account identifier and profile information authorized by Google, such as your name and email. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Hosted content: files, databases, and other information you upload to your hosting service. Do not include information you are not entitled to process.

3. Why we use information

We use relevant information to create and administer accounts; fulfill hosting and domain orders; issue invoices and verify payments; respond to support requests; protect against fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access; meet applicable legal obligations; and communicate important service changes. If you subscribe to optional news or product updates, we use your email for those messages; contact support@telacloudhq.com to stop them.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and protecting our services, or consent for optional activities that require it. You can withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting processing already lawfully completed.

4. Providers and disclosures

We share information needed to deliver the service with hosting infrastructure providers, domain registrars and registries, payment processors, authentication providers, and support/security service providers. For example, domain registration may require sending registrant contact information to NairaHost and the relevant registry. Registry rules may require publication or disclosure of some domain contact information; privacy services depend on the extension and service purchased.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect rights and prevent fraud or abuse. Optional marketing or other unrelated uses require the notice and permissions applicable to that activity.

5. Cookies and account storage

The site uses cookies or similar storage for sessions, shopping carts, security protections, and preferences. Third-party sign-in and payment services may use their own cookies when you use those services. You can manage cookies in your browser, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout. Any additional optional tracking must be described in the relevant notice and handled according to applicable consent requirements.

6. Hosting locations and international processing

Your selected service location and our providers may involve processing information outside your home country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply. Contact us if you need information about the location of a particular service before uploading sensitive or regulated data.

7. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to deliver the service, resolve support and billing issues, maintain security, and meet applicable accounting, legal, or dispute obligations. Different records may have different retention periods. Closing an account does not automatically remove records that must lawfully be retained. Ask us for the retention information relevant to your request.

8. Security and your responsibilities

We use access controls and other appropriate measures to protect information. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and available two-factor authentication, keep account access private, and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized activity. Never share passwords, payment PINs, or API secrets in the chatbot or a support ticket.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy, or withdraw consent. Email support@telacloudhq.com to make a request. We may ask for proportionate identity verification before disclosing or changing account information. Some requests may be limited by legal obligations or the rights of others. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

10. Customer data and children

Hosting customers are responsible for the information they upload and for their own privacy notices, permissions, and lawful processing. Where we process that information on your behalf, contact us about any required data-processing arrangements. The service is intended for people legally able to enter the service agreement; it is not directed at children.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy to reflect service or legal changes. The date shown on this page identifies the latest version. Where required, we will give appropriate notice of material changes. Contact Velloforge through support@telacloudhq.com or our contact page.
